Over the years, NYCC has become a major hub for fans, creators, and celebrities alike, hosting exclusive panels, previews, and premieres. It often features guest appearances from well-known comic book artists, writers, and celebrities from popular TV shows and movies. The convention also serves as a platform for major studios and publishers to make important announcements and showcase upcoming projects.

NYCC has seen tremendous growth, consistently setting attendance records.

It is now considered one of the "big three" comic conventions in the U.S., alongside San Diego Comic-Con and Dragon Con. The event has also embraced the broader geek culture, with extensive programming that includes cosplay contests, fan meet-ups, and workshops on various aspects of pop culture and entertainment.

New York Comic Con continues to be a landmark event for fans and industry professionals, evolving each year to reflect the ever-changing landscape of popular culture.
